GNS, as a company with a leading position on the world market, has for 25 years been developing, producing and supplying CASTOR transport and storage containers for spent nuclear fuel elements and radioactive waste. More than 1000 containers have been supplied to customers globally and put into operation.

The engineering company based in Julich has been operating over 25 years in nuclear technology. Planning and implementation of in-process store construction for spent nuclear fuel elements is just one part of its broad spectrum of engineering activities.
