CASTOR® container construction parameters:

• Two-purpose servicing of containers during transport (horizontal and vertical transport)
• Container storage system in the store
• The monolithic container casing is made of forgeable cast iron (cast as one piece)
• Various types of containers are available such as PWR, BWR, HTR, MTR etc.
• Sizes:
• length: 4.0 to 5.0 m
• diameter: 1.5 to 2.5 m
• wall thickness: 0.25 to 0.45 m
• Cylindrical openings are filled with polyethylene decelerator on the side wall of the container
• Double lid with monitored pressure control (pressure indicator)
